Dorilton capital has continued to strive towards improving Williams Racing by appointing François-Xavier Demaison as technical director. Taking the role left vacant by Paddy Lowe after 2019 preseason testing, François-Xavier Demaison will see over the technical operations of the business for the 2021 season, including design and aerodynamics.

Demaison comes to the Williams racing team with a large array of experience behind him, as he has spent the last decade at Volkswagen Motorsport where he was responsible for the technological development for the groundbreaking Volkswagen IDR electric car.
He has a huge amount of F1 experience, working with Renault and Sauber to help develop with the seasonal development of the car.
