BWT joined Force India Formula One Team in 2017 as their title sponsor leading to a popular, pink livery and remained with the Silverstone based team throughout its transition to Racing Point in 2019. The ‘Best Water Technology’ team will continue this partnership into 2021, albeit in a different way.

With Aston Martin rebranding the Racing Point team and presumably switching the new livery to the British Racing Green, it was clear that BWT would not be able to continue its role as title sponsor. BWT however, has confirmed that their logos will still be proudly displayed on the Green car after announcing its intentions to continue with the much-loved team, though in a less prevalent way.
A spokesman for the team had this to say about the matter, ‘today’s news ensures that subtle BWT brand accents, as well as BWT brand logos, will remain a feature on the all-new Aston Martin livery.’ Furthermore, BWT’s CEO, Andreas Weißenbache, mentioned how he is, ‘proud to continue supporting this wonderful team.’
With today’s news solidifying BWT’s position within Formula 1, fans can hopefully expect to see a spectacular British Green and BWT Pink livery to be unveiled next Wednesday at Aston Martins 2021 car launch on the 3rd of March.
