British GT heads to Donington Park for the second time this season for a two-hour contest to decide the championships. The 2.5 mi (4.3 km) and 12 turns Grand Prix layout will host the contest with each turn providing a different kind of challenge with sweeping corners and full commitment. It is sure to bring exciting racing.

The three-hour endurance race at Donington earlier in the year was won in dominant style by the Enduro Motorsport McLaren 720s GT3. They will be aiming to repeat the success and continue the good run of form after the win at the penultimate round at Brands Hatch and get crucial championship points that could boost them to second in the standings and maybe even the title.

GT3 Championship leader Ian Loggie may have a 24.5-point lead over the second-placed Barwell Motorsport duo of Sandy Mitchell and Adam Balon, but with the extensive points awarded for the two-hour race, it leaves the championship open to all including the 2 Seas Motorsport entry of James Cottingham and Lewis Williamson, the second Mercedes in the top 4 and in title contention just behind the Balon-Mitchell duo.

GT4 is even tighter than GT3 with Newbridge Motorsport's Matt Topham and Darren Turner narrowly advantaged over the Audi of Steller Motorsport's Richard Williams and Sennan Fielding. R Racing is also in the hunt with only eight points behind Steller Motorsport.

Following the exit of Team Parker Racing Bentley and WPI Motorsport Lamborghini, a few extra cars will join the grid. The above teams backed out of the last few rounds due to commitments the Amateur drivers had.

Joining the grid will be the Beechdean Aston Martin Vantage GT3 helmed by Lewis Proctor and Andrew Howard, the former leaving Graystone GT and being replaced by Warren Hughs. Also joining the grid is GT Cup title contenders Orange Racing, driven by Simon Orange and 2020 vice-champion Michael O’Brien, adding another McLaren 720s GT3 to the grid showing its popularity.

It’s certainly going to be an exciting season finale, so you’ll want to stick close to the action in order to find out who comes out on top!
