Matteo de Palo is feeling confident as he prepares for the upcoming Spanish Formula 4 season. The fifteen-year-old Italian driver is joining Jesse Carrasquedo Jr, Noah Strømsted, Enzo Deligny, Christian Ho, and Andrés Cárdenas as part of Campos Racing’s lineup this year.
"I know I can rely 100% on [Campos]," de Palo says. "This makes me feel very confident for this season."
De Palo has set his sights on growing as a driver and achieving the best possible result. "I'm working hard in the gym with my trainer to prepare for the season," he added.
The young driver also reflected on his experience in the Formula Winter Series, where he managed a win and a fifth place with Campos Racing. He said the series was very useful for getting used to his new team and the different racing style, which is very different from karting.
With the season set to kick off in Spa-Francorchamps on May 5th, Campos Racing and de Palo will continue with pre-season testing in the coming weeks as they prepare for the first of seven rounds this year.
