In May, Super Formula’s list of winning teams got one entry longer thanks to Nirei Fukuzumi scoring ROOKIE Racing’s maiden win in the most recent round of the series held at Suzuka. Fukuzumi switched from KCMG, a team he raced for the two years prior, to ROOKIE Racing, a team project of Morizo himself, in 2026.

It’s Golden Week in Japan and, as is customary, Super GT is set to hold the Fuji GT 3 Hours this weekend. It is one of two three-hour races on the calendar, with the other being held at Autopolis.
