Kyle Kirkwood is eyeing what he believes to be a realistic shot at a first IndyCar championship crown as the series heads towards the closing stretch of the season.

With the championship wrapped up by Dennis Hauger, a gloves-off weekend beckoned at Nashville Superspeedway to round-out the 14-race Indy NXT season.
