Christian Ho was in fine form on the Spanish F4 championship’s return to Motorland Aragón, taking a season-first win and a podium on the weekend.

His performances contributed to Campos Racing’s domination on their home soil, with teammate Enzo Deligny claiming the top spot in Race 1 after Ho was penalised for track limits. “It was kind of like redemption for myself,” the Singaporean told Divebomb of his performance in Race 2.

“I think the championship was a good step, but I'm not really bothered by this sort of stuff. I take a race one step at a time. I just do my best for every race and try to win every single one.”

It was a strong performance by Campos following what Ho described as a ‘fluke’ performance at Spa-Francorchamps. MP Motorsport were the team to beat on the occasion, with Pedro Clerot leaving with a strong lead in the championship by virtue of his two wins.

Fortunes have been reversed as of now, and Ho expects the performance trends to remain the same: “It (Spa-Francorchamps) wasn't our best, let's say. There's more to come for this race in Navarra and especially Jeréz I think would be quite strong.”

Despite trailing championship leader Pedro Clerot by just nine points, the Campos driver was dismissive of any thoughts of fighting for the title yet.

Ho clearly stated his approach of taking it one race at a time—a philosophy that has so far proven itself successful. “I don't really think about it, I mean, I just try to win as much as possible.”

The F4 Spain championship returns to action this weekend in Navarra, where Campos are expected to have the upper hand on rivals MP Motorsport, as the former seek out a second consecutive teams’ title.
