Netflix’s latest foray into the motorsport scene will be the release of F1: The Academy on 28th May 2025, a docu-series covering the 2024 season of F1 Academy. 

It was a tight battle between the F1 Academy drivers off the back of a rigorous in-season testing. Over the course of the weekend, Maya Weug inherited the Drivers' Championship lead after a second-place finish in Race 1, behind Ella Lloyd taking her first win, and a narrow victory in Race 2.

Formula 2's qualifying session saw plenty of drivers take to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in full flow for the first time, pushing their cars close to the barriers, searching for the perfect lap.

DAMS racer Jak Crawford took a surprise pole for the DAMS outfit, their first since the Australian GP weekend in 2023, giving the French outfit a major confidence boost heading into the Jeddah weekend.

Feeder Series action returns this weekend, with Formula 2 set for its third weekend of 2025 at Jeddah, while F1 Academy is back for round 2 on the banks of the Red Sea. Jasmin and Meghana take you through all you need to know ahead of the Jeddah weekend.
