For 2023 Divebomb have had the exciting opportunity of partnering with Carlin's John Bennett, who competes in the UK based GB3 Championship. A runner up in Ginetta GT5, Bennett has proved to be a hot topic within UK motorsport.

John's Story

As a consequence of his father racing Caterhams since he was four years of age, Bennett was no stranger to motorsport in his infancy. Starting karting at 16 and jumping into cars that very same year, Bennett soon adapted to the Ginetta GT5 machinery, ending the year with three podiums from four races. 2021 would be a breakout year, five race wins and a further five podiums from 18 races crowned Bennett the Ginetta GT5 runner up.

A bold move to the GB3 championship with Elite Motorsport proved to be a successful one as Bennett was on the pace straight from round one, scoring two top fives in his first weekend. Four more top fives would come in 2022, as well as a podium to round out the season at Donington Park, finishing the year P8 in the championship.

For 2023 Bennett continued in GB3, this time with feeder series powerhouse Carlin. So far this season John has picked up two pole positions and a second place finish at Silverstone.
