Jaguar's Mitch Evans delivered yet another epic comeback drive, his second in three races, but this time it was good enough to take a second race victory of the season. "Patience, man... patience," he would reveal as he crossed the line, executing the perfect mantra to take victory in Berlin.

Porsche's Pascal Wehrlein put himself in the box seat for a strong result on home ground, taking pole position for Round 8 in an epic finale with DS Penske's Taylor Barnard. The gap between the two starring contenders ebbed and flowed as the 57-second lap went on, with the advantage initially swinging towards Barnard, then to the Porsche man, and then back and forth before Wehrlein put himself ahead by 0.038 seconds to take home pole.

Formula 2’s North American debut has left several drivers thrilled, with the Miami International Autodrome hosting a thrilling 23-lap sprint race that saw drivers go back and forth for position multiple times, and an exciting three-abreast last-lap duel all the way to the finish line.

Mahindra Racing's Edoardo Mortara became the most successful qualifier around the Berlin Tempelhof venue, taking a record-equalling fourth pole position at the venue, by beating out Pascal Wehrlein in a close final.
