Trident spent the majority of 2025 forming the tail of Formula 2’s ever-competitive field. In stark contrast to their F3 counterparts, the last time a Trident driver stood on a podium was in 2024. However, F2’s Melbourne weekend reaped massive rewards for a team looking ahead to an optimistic 2026.

Trident, with their competitive driver lineup featuring Noah Strømsted, Matteo De Palo and Freddie Slater will be expected to hit the ground running at the season opener in Melbourne, having delivered the Drivers’ Championship for the past three years, and placing second overall in last year’s Teams’ Championship.

The tail end of every Formula 2 season sees newer faces step up from the lower rung of Formula 3. While it was F3 champion Leonardo Fornaroli and Christian Mansell last time around, this year sees McLaren junior Martinius Stenshorne and Laurens van Hoepen make an early leap into F2.

Trident's Noah Strømsted came out on top in an incident-free Sprint Race at Spa-Franchorchamps, securing his first race win in Formula 3.

Every racing driver lucky enough to have a home race looks forward to it each year. For Trident Racing driver Charlie Wurz, that weekend has come as Formula 3 heads to Austria to race at the Red Bull Ring.

Formula 3 feature race, that went underway on Sunday, saw Rafael Câmara of Trident take his third win at Barcelona. Having qualified at pole position on Friday, the driver has furthered his lead in the championship. He currently holds 105 points having won points in almost every feature race on the calendar. Théophile Naël of Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR) took P2 followed by Alessandro Giusti of MP Motorsport take P3.
