BREAKING: Romain Grosjean Crashes During IndyCar Test

Romain Grosjean, who was participating in the first day of IndyCar testing with Dale Coyne Racing on Tuesday, has crashed after escaping from the track and hitting the tyre barrier.

The French driver, in the first few minutes of testing with Dale Coyne at the Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama, lost control in the first corner and hit the tyre barrier with the back of the car.

Fortunately, he left without any injuries and, after an hour, the car was back on track. Whilst its amazing to see Grosjean back in a race car only a few months after his horror crash in the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix, crashes like this beg the question as to whether or not Grosjean is ready to be racing again. Grosjean is clearly a capable driver, but has his confidence been knocked by more than what he lets on?

The test was not being broadcasted, hence why there is no video and just a description of the accident.
