Returning to the Italian army training facility of Capo Teulada Extreme E will use the same infrastructure they used in July with a modified course including jumps and rough sandy terrain that the teams and drivers have become accustomed to over the previous five visits to Sardinia, it is sure to be a track that develops very quickly through the weekend bringing in the many extra lines that drivers like Sebastian Loeb have shown off before to get overtakes completed.

Sebastian Loeb is substituting for Nassar Al-Attiyah once again partnering with Klara Andersson in the ABT Cupra XE car. Aiming to jump up the standings from its 8th spot only ahead of Carl Cox Motorsport and JBXE. The former of the two is also looking to have a good weekend having shown good pace in July with rookie Lia Block and Timo Scheider, the pair, who didn't have the result they wanted despite showing good pace. Veloce is another team that didn't have the best results in Round 5 and 6, now sitting 3rd in the standings just 10 points behind the RXR car in Extreme E’s closest title fight to date.

With 29 points on offer in both Round 7 and 8, it’s sure to be the most exciting penultimate round of Extreme E ever!
