Iron Dames announce they will not take part in WEC in 2026

In an Instagram post on Thursday afternoon, the Iron Dames team have announced that they will not compete in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) in 2026. The only all female crew in the series have competed in the series since 2021.

Ferrari seal 1-2-3 in WEC drivers championship as Toyota get 1-2 in 8 Hours of Bahrain. Porsche win title in LMGT3
Ferrari have sealed a 1-2-3 finish in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) drivers championship, and the manufacturers title. Toyota took a 1-2 in the 8 Hours of Bahrain, while the No.87 Lexus won in LMGT3 and the No.92 Porsche took that title.

Toyota lock out front row for WEC finale in Bahrain
Toyota locked out the front row for the finale, with the No.7 starting ahead of the No.8. Then came a Peugeot 3-4, ahead of the No.12 Cadillac. The championship leading No.51 will be seventh, with the No.83 just outside the top 10 and the No.6 Porsche starting dead last.
