Tom Blomqvist dominated qualifying on Friday to take pole and set a new qualifying record at Road Atlanta in his No. 60 Meyer Shank Acura at IMSA Petit Le Mans. This is the team's second consecutive pole position, following their first-place start at Indianapolis last time out. The No. 11 TDS Racing car took pole in LMP2 driven by Steven Thomas. Dan Harper in the No. 48 Paul Miller BMW took pole in GTD PRO. In GTD, the No. 47 Cetilar Racing Ferrari took their maiden pole position.

The final round of the IMSA calendar, the 10 Hours of Motul Petit Le Mans, is set to take place this Saturday from 12:00 pm until 10:00 pm track time (EST) at Road Atlanta. Qualifying is set to start at 3:15 pm track time on Friday.

Canadian AWA Racing driver Orey Fidani is currently tied with Brendan Iribe for the 2025 Bob Akin award going into the final race of the IMSA calendar.

The No. 60 Meyer Shank Acura secured pole position in GTP with Tom Blomqvist at the wheel in qualifying at IMSA Indianapolis Motor Speedway Battle on the Bricks. The No. 27 Heart of Racing Aston Martin took pole in GTD. In GTD PRO, The No. 48 Paul Miller Racing BMW went fastest. Pole in LMP2 went to the No. 2 United Autosports USA car.
