At a glance – save for the obvious livery differences – the three Porsche 963 GTP entrants that lined up on the grid for the 2026 Daytona 24 Hours were all but identical. However, the No.85 JDC-Miller MotorSports entry found itself at a disadvantage compared to the No.6 and No.7 Porsche Penske Motorsport contenders before the green flag had even dropped. 

The No.04 CrowdStrike Racing by APR overcame an early setback to win the LMP2 class at the 2026 24 Hours of Daytona.

Porsche Penske Motorsport has completed a hat-trick of wins in Daytona, courtesy of the No.7 car. Driver Felipe Nasr also achieves a rare feat.

After 24 hours of hard fought racing, the No.7 took a deserved win at the Daytona 24 Hours, to confirm Porsche's third consecutive victory at the famous race.

As it stands, the race is under an extended full course yellow period (FCY) for foggy conditions. The No.7 Porsche had led a lot of the race, its main competitors being the No.31 Cadillac and the No.93 Acura.

It's set to be an absolute thriller, with 60 cars lined up ready to take on the banking's of the Daytona International Speedway. Names such as Kevin Magnussen, Álex Palou, Jack Aitken, Connor Zilisch, Colton Herta, Scott Dixon and many many more will all be looking to head home with a brand new Rolex, and a Daytona 24 Hours victory to their name.
