BTCC Croft - Ashley Sutton puts one hand on championship trophy after Tom Ingram suffers disastrous weekend!

Too quick for anyone to catch, Josh Cook won the Qualifying Race with an advantage greater than one second to Dan Cammish. Sutton finished third, a solid result as he strives to claim his fifth championship before the final round at Brands Hatch.

Josh Cook will start the Croft Qualifying race from pole position, having set the fastest time in Qualifying. Tom Ingram will start second from Mikey Doble in third.

The Championship leader, Ash Sutton, will approach a race weekend for the first time this year having not won a race in the previous round. Regardless of his absence from the top step, the four time Champion won't be concerned as he still picked up two second places and stretched his points lead to 98.
