The tail end of every Formula 2 season sees newer faces step up from the lower rung of Formula 3. While it was F3 champion Leonardo Fornaroli and Christian Mansell last time around, this year sees McLaren junior Martinius Stenshorne and Laurens van Hoepen make an early leap into F2.

The Formula 3 Sprint Race in Monaco got underway on Saturday at 10:45 CEST (8:45 GMT), with Martinius Stenshorne of Hitech TGR claiming his first victory of the 2025 season. He was followed by Tuukka Taponen in second and his ART Grand Prix teammate Laurens Van Hoepen securing the final podium spot in third.

The opening sprint race of 2025 saw Santiago Ramos convert pole to his maiden F3 win alongside Martinius Stenshorne and Roman Bilinski.
