Coming off an eventful Sprint Race a day earlier, the F3 field returned to the circuit with Freddie Slater of Trident starting from the front and hoping to grow his championship cushion further still.

George Russell topped the second practice in Monza ahead of the Italian Grand Prix, followed by Charles Leclerc of Ferrari and home favourite Kimi Antonelli completing the top three in an eventful session.
