Honda Racing Corporation USA has announced that it will 'pause' the Acura ARX-06 GTP program in IMSA after the conclusion of the 2026 season in October.

The No.93 Meyer Shank Racing Acura crossed the finish line first in the aptly named Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, becoming the first non-Porsche winners of 2026, after exploiting a stroke of luck early on.

The No.10 Wayne Taylor Racing (WTR) Cadillac has lost it's third place finish in the 2026 12 Hours of Sebring after post-race inspection.

Known by some as the biggest test of reliability on the motorsport calendar, the 12 Hours of Sebring takes place this weekend, with 55 cars set to take to the track for this years event.

At a glance – save for the obvious livery differences – the three Porsche 963 GTP entrants that lined up on the grid for the 2026 Daytona 24 Hours were all but identical. However, the No.85 JDC-Miller MotorSports entry found itself at a disadvantage compared to the No.6 and No.7 Porsche Penske Motorsport contenders before the green flag had even dropped.

As it stands, the race is under an extended full course yellow period (FCY) for foggy conditions. The No.7 Porsche had led a lot of the race, its main competitors being the No.31 Cadillac and the No.93 Acura.

It's set to be an absolute thriller, with 60 cars lined up ready to take on the banking's of the Daytona International Speedway. Names such as Kevin Magnussen, Álex Palou, Jack Aitken, Connor Zilisch, Colton Herta, Scott Dixon and many many more will all be looking to head home with a brand new Rolex, and a Daytona 24 Hours victory to their name.
