MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi has opened up about BMW’s struggles in the 24 Hours of Spa, which left them out of overall podium or victory contention.

The No.80 Lionspeed GP Porsche has won the 2026 24 Hours of Spa after starting from the pit lane. Thomas Preining, Bastian Buus and Ricardo Feller steered the car to the front of the pack, and eventually to victory.

Bastian Buus leads the way with two hours to go in the 24 Hours of Spa in the No.80 Lionspeed GP Porsche. There is a battle for second between Lucas Auer in the No.48 Mercedes and the No.22 Schumacher CLRT Porsche in the hands of Matt Campbell.

Four hours remain in the 24 Hours of Spa and Lionspeed GP lead in their No.80 Porsche with Ricardo Feller at the wheel. Between himself and teammate Thomas Preining, the duo have opened up a 25 second lead over the No.48 Mercedes.

The No.46 BMW lead the 24 Hours of Spa in the midst of a close 3-way battle for first.

The No.64 HRT Ford Mustang led the 24 Hours of Spa after eight hours, but owed a pit stop. Therefore the net lead was the No.48 Mercedes, driven by Lucas Auer at the time.

The No.51 AF Corse Ferrari qualify on pole position for the 24 Hours of Spa.

Off the back of a disappointing Nürburgring 24h, the No.3 Verstappen Racing Mercedes will go again at Spa. The No.3 will be manned once again by Joules Gounon and Daniel Juncadella, but they will be joined by Chris Lulham this time. The car was leading the Nürburgring until it was forced to pit with mechanical issues in the morning and lost heaps of times to its competitors.
