Citroën Racing confirms Jean-Éric Vergne and Nick Cassidy ahead of Season 13 of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship

The sudden death of Citroën's Formula E Team Principal Cyril Blais has come as a shock to the Formula E faithful, only days away from the penultimate race weekend of the season in Tokyo. Blais, 46, had been an instrumental figure in bringing the French manufacturer into Formula E in Season 12.

Season 12 debutants Citroën Racing have opted for a dynamic young line-up for the upcoming Madrid Rookie Test, signing Formula 2 race winner Joshua Dürksen alongside Rookie Test driver Théo Pourchaire for the one-day test.

French automotive giant Citroën will join the electric racing scene from 2026, taking over the entry run by fellow Stellantis marque Maserati MSG.
