Race two of three at the Hungaroring has concluded, in the wake of multiple retirements Nikita Bedrin to extend his drivers’ championship lead.

Trident's Matteo De Palo took race victory in the Formula 3's Silverstone Feature Race, a maiden F3 win and his first points-scoring weekend of 2026 in the championship.

Campos’ Nikola Tsolov has scored five Formula 2 wins in 2026. Yet, even he would have been quite surprised at how the sprint in Silverstone played into his hands. “I didn't expect it for that to happen. I would be just happy with a P2 at that point,” he remarked, largely satisfied with what he had done over the course of the sprint.

Audi driver Emma Felbermayr took a comfortable victory at the F1 Academy Reverse Grid Race in Silverstone, with Nina Gademan and Ella Lloyd completing the podium.

It was a perfect Friday for Wild Card entry Chiara Bättig on her F1 Academy debut, who took a dominant pole position from Alisha Palmowski in Silverstone and became the youngest pole-sitter in the series at 16 years of age.

An excellent lap in qualifying by Invicta's Rafa Câmara saw him take a third Formula 2 pole position for the Silverstone weekend. He took the honours in F2 qualifying by two tenths of a second from the Alpine juniors Alex Dunne and ART's Kush Maini, with the likes of DAMS' Roman Bilinski and Austria winner Nikola Tsolov rounding out the top five in qualifying.

ART’s Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak has been through a rough ride to kick off 2026. A soft-spoken figure, he turned several heads early in the season with an excellent weekend down under in Melbourne.

“I'm really just trying to enjoy every second of this.” Barely a half-hour since Trident's John Bennett climbed out of his car in Austria, he had still not been able to process or soak in his emotions. A race-long duel with PREMA’s Sebastián Montoya in Formula 2's Austria sprint had finally fallen in his favour on the final lap.

“On my side, I was always trying to go for pole,” Campos racer Noel León responded. León had just taken a stellar maiden pole position in Austria, pulling off a strategy few would look to pursue in Formula 2 qualifying.

Noel León became the first Mexican to score pole position for Formula 2's Austria weekend by a margin of 0.129 seconds, ahead of Alex Dunne, while teammate Nikola Tsolov, who rounded out the top three.
