Porsche looked to have maintain their dominance in the powertrain segment, as Dan Ticktum topped the final session's running for Cupra Kiro, ahead of Nico Müller's Porsche. Four Porsche-powered cars also finished in the top six in the morning session, while Mahindra showed pace all through the day's testing on Tuesday.

Season 10 champion Pascal Wehrlein topped day one of Formula E’s highly anticipated pre-season testing week, a first session for many notable drivers who switched teams ahead of the final Gen 3 Evo season. 

It's finally time to dust off the cobwebs and shake off the rust, as Formula E's much-awaited Season 12 gets up and running. But it's not for any competitive racing action just yet, as the 20 drivers and 10 teams will first need to get through a week of testing in Valencia.

The past three months have been defining ones for the 2025/26 Formula E season. With major driver changes, the arrival of a new team and the departure of another, the stage is set for what promises to be an electrifying pre-season test in Valencia from 27–31 October 2025.

Reigning Constructors’ champions Porsche will head into the all-female Formula E test with two drivers, as BMW GT4 racer Janine Schall will partner Gabriela Jílková for the one-day test on October 31. 

A former Formula E champion will be returning to the series, albeit in newer surroundings, and as a reserve driver to two veteran racers in the title.

Citroën Racing are the final team to announce their driver for Formula E’s all-female test on October 31, with Colombian racer Tatiana Calderón set to take to the one-day test for the French team during pre-season testing.

Envision Racing become the third team to field two female drivers for the all-female rookie test, with F1 Academy racer Ella Lloyd joining the team’s development driver Alice Powell for the test on October 31. 

Jamie Chadwick and Juju Noda will be driving for Jaguar TCS Racing for the all-female Formula E test in Valencia on October 31, as part of pre-season testing for Formula E’s Season 12. 

Andretti Global have announced that they will be reuniting with Spanish racer Nerea Martí, ahead of the all-female Formula E test in Valencia on October 31.

Cupra Kiro have announced that Spanish racer Pepe Martí will be driving for them in Formula E Season 12, bringing to an end the speculation over the final driver making up the Formula E grid for the upcoming season. 

Envision Racing have announced that Alice Powell will be driving for them in the all-female test. The Briton drove for the all-green team at the inaugural test last year, where she partnered Alisha Palmowski.

Dan Ticktum officially confirmed his spot on the Formula E grid for Season 12, reaffirming his continuity and faith in the Cupra Kiro squad after a successful first campaign with the American team.

Mahindra Racing have announced that American Chloe Chambers will be participating in the Formula E all-female test on 31 October in Valencia.

Gabriela Jílková will be participating in the Formula E all-female test in Valencia with reigning champions Porsche, later this month, following several prior appearances for the team.

At the recently concluded FIA World Motorsport Council (WMSC) meeting, Formula E's final calendar for the upcoming Season 12 received its final confirmation. The calendar features 17 races, with one undecided race for May 30 dropping off the calendar revealed by Formula E earlier this June.

Lola Yamaha ABT Formula E team has announced that the inaugural F1 Academy champion, Marta García, will be driving for the team in the all-female test on October 31st. 

Mahindra Racing has revealed its fighter for the 2025/26 season, unveiling a bold new livery for Season 12. The design features an assertive red, black, and white colour scheme - a significant visual evolution that reflects the team’s renewed intent after a progressive Season 11.

Kush Maini continues his affiliation with Mahindra Racing, and is set to serve as the team's official reserve driver for the upcoming Formula E campaign. The Indian has taken part in several rookie tests for the team over the past two campaigns.

DS Penske have announced their line-up for the upcoming all-female Formula E test on October 31, with Lindsay Brewer and Jess Edgar joining forces at the team in black and gold for the test.
