German car manufacturer Opel will be entering Formula E in Season 13, finally putting speculations of their next step in motorsport to an end. The Stellantis-owned manufacturer will make up the second Formula E entry by the conglomerate, replacing the outgoing DS Automobiles on the grid.

DS Automobiles will officially depart Formula E at the end of Season 12, parting ways with American motorsport arm Penske after a four-year partnership, and a total of 11 seasons with three different manufacturers in the championship.

Andretti's Jake Dennis will extend his contract with the American giant into Season 13 and beyond. The Briton has been a cornerstone of the team's rise in Formula E, winning seven E-Prix across six seasons with the franchise.
