Envision Racing announce Zak O'Sullivan for Madrid Rookie Test

Envision Racing have announced that Zak O'Sullivan will line-up alongside Ella Lloyd at the Madrid Formula E Rookie Test on March 22.

O'Sullivan currently serves as Envision Racing's Simulator Driver, a position he has held since 2024. In 2026, O'Sullivan will compete in both Super Formula with Wecars Impul with SDG and Super GT with CarGuy MKS Racing. Last season, the Briton also raced in both Super Formula and Super GT 300. He finished the 2025 Super Formula season in 15th, with a best result of seventh. Meanwhile in the Super GT 300 season, O'Sullivan placed third in the standings, taking one win and one further podium.


The Madrid Rookie Test will be the 21-year-old's fourth experience driving a Formula E car.


Following the announcement, Zak O'Sullivan said:


“After a successful FP0 session in Miami, I’m excited to get a full day in  the car in Madrid. It’s been a good start to the season for the team, so I’ll be working hard to  assist where I can with data and feedback.”

 

Managing Director & CTO of Envision Racing, Sylvain Filippi, also stated:


“Zak is a great asset to our  team, and this test gives him another opportunity to learn more about the car to help the  engineers and drivers going forward for the rest of the season. He had a strong showing in Miami, so we’re looking forward to seeing his progress in  Madrid.”
