Welcome to DIVEBOMB's LIVE coverage of the 2025 IMSA Battle on the Bricks. The penultimate round of the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship is set to be a thriller.
At the front in GTP, it was Acura who were quickest on the road, but a post session penalty means that it is a Cadillac 1-2-3 on the grid for the six hour endurance event. The Whelen Engineering No.31 will lead away the pair of Wayne Taylor V. Series R's.
In LMP2 its a United Autosports front row lock-out, with the No.2 coming out on top of the sister car. Also of note in this class, is a return to racing for former Williams Formula One driver Logan Sargeant. He will be competing alongside Naveen Rao and Benjamin Pederson in the No.52 PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports entry.
Its the No.48 BMW on pole for GTD Pro, with the No.27 Heart of Racing Aston Martin heading the GTD field.
With this being the penultimate round of both the endurance cup and overall IMSA Sportscar championships, there is guaranteed to be plenty of unmissable action across all four of the classes.
