The Sepang Racing Team will be sporting a strong duo of experience and youth, in Valentino Rossi and Franco Morbidelli. Morbidelli is ahead of Vale last season with 5 podiums to his name, 3 of which are race wins. Meanwhile, Vale’s 2020 season was one to forget. The 7-time World Champion finished with only one podium and 15th in the championship.
This season will mark a new beginning for Vale since departing the Yamaha main factory team, Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team, where he won 2 MotoGP World Championship titles, the last one being 12 years ago.
