Reza Seewooruthun moves up to F3, continues with Rodin Motorsport

Rodin Motorsport have announced that Reza Seewooruthun will be one of their F3 drivers for the 2027 season.
Prior to 2026, the 20-year-old previously raced in Ginetta Juniors, British F4 and GB3, becoming a winner in all three series. In 2026, Seewooruthun competed in the Formula Regional European Championship (FREC) for Rodin.
In 2023, he finished third in Ginetta Juniors behind F2-bound Freddie Slater and second-placed Hugo Schwarze, scoring four wins including all three rounds at Brands Hatch.
The following year, Seewooruthun moved up to British F4 with Hitech, where he also finished third to teammate Deagen Fairclough and future FREC teammate Alex Ninovic.
A campaign in GB3 followed, with one victory in Hungary and a further four podiums helping him to fifth in the standings while racing for Argenti by Prema. Seewooruthun finished as the best driver from Argenti by Prema in the standings.
This year, Seewooruthun raced in the Formula Regional European Championsip (FREC), where he scored two podiums and finished 16th in the standings in his sole campaign. He raced with Rodin in this campaign, and will continue with them for 2027.
Seewooruthun expressed his happiness at remaining with Rodin for next year:
“I’m proud to be staying with Rodin Motorsport as I move into Formula 3 next year. It’s an honour to make that step with a team I trust. I’m excited for this next chapter, but the next few months are focused on hard work before we get to the season opener.”
Rodin's Sporting Director Benn Huntingford praised the progress made by Seewooruthun this year, adding:
“It’s great to see Reza continuing his development with the team as he steps up to FIA Formula 3. He’s shown some promising pace throughout his time in FREC and secured two podiums this season, which have been important milestones in his progression. We’re looking forward to building on that experience with him and seeing what he can achieve in F3.”
