Andretti Formula E have announced that Britons Callum Voisin and Freddie Slater will be joining them for the Madrid Rookie Test on March 22.

In 2026, Callum Voisin raced in the Asian Le Mans LMP3 category. He got one podium and one pole position, finishing the year in eighth in the standings. The Briton will also race in Porsche Carrera Cup GB after being picked as their Porsche Junior for 2026.
Voisin first tested Formula E machinery in 2025, joining Cupra Kiro for the Berlin Rookie Test. He finished fourth in the test and drove alongside Bianca Bustamante.
Following the news, Voisin said:
“I’m very excited to be joining Andretti Formula E for this year's rookie test. It will be my first time driving with Andretti and at the Jarama Circuit in Madrid, so I’m very much looking forward to the opportunity. I had a positive test last year at the Berlin Rookie Test, so I can't wait to build on what's been a fun and different experience to what I'm used to. I can't thank Andretti enough for the opportunity and I can't wait to get going.”
Freddie Slater is the reigning Formula Regional European Champion and currently races in Formula Three, where he sits third in the standings with 18 points after two. He also has one podium. In 2026, Slater has also raced in the Formula Regional Oceania Trophy, where he finished second in the standings with three wins and a further three podiums.
The Madrid Rookie Test will be Slater's first time in Formula E machinery.
In a statement, Slater said:
“Obviously, I'm very excited to get my first taste of Formula E machinery. It's been something I've been looking forward to for a while now, having always wanted the opportunity to drive an all-electric racecar. The Andretti name is incredibly iconic in motorsports, so having the opportunity to work with such a historic and successful organization means a lot. I just can’t wait to get started.”
