GT World Challenge Europe (GWTC EU) season is approaching yet again, with SRO’s rapidly rising GT3 series entering its 13th iteration and DIVEBOMB presents every entry confirmed so far.
As always, the 10-round season is split into the Sprint and Endurance Cups, each featuring five races and at least nine manufacturers will be represented across both. No fewer than 14 teams are set to compete for honours in the Pro, Gold, Silver and Bronze classes with 18 cars confirmed so far, headlined by last year’s overall champions in Team WRT.
The Belgian outfit is expected to field as many as four BMW M4 GT3 Evos, although at present just two Pro class entries have been finalised for the season-long campaign.
Sprint Cup and Overall champions Kelvin van der Linde & Charles Weerts return to defend their titles in the No. 32 car, with Valentino Rossi & Max Hesse joining forces in the No. 46 car, as the Italian MotoGP legend makes a full-time come back to the series. Jordan Pepper and Dan Harper will respectively be entered for the Endurance Cup rounds with Team WRT aiming for their third title in a row.

2025’s Silver Cup champions, Boutsen VDS, have made the switch from Mercedes to Porsche machinery and are slated to enter two 911 GT3 Rs, one each for the Pro & Gold classes.
Porsche factory driver Dorian Boccolacci will run the full Pro class campaign in the No. 2 car, with Alessio Picariello and Morris Schuring joining him for both cups depending on their respective availability.
Gilles Magnus and Robin Knutsson make up their No.10 Gold entry with highly touted Frenchman Alessandro Ghiretti joining for the Endurance effort.
Comtoyou Racing enter their third season as a customer of Aston Martin, having recently confirmed plans for a three-pronged assault, with a Vantage AMR GT3 Evo each for the Pro, Silver and Bronze classes. Rising star Kobe Pauwels continues with the team as he seeks back to back Silver Cup titles as well as top class success. Pauwels will partner Nicki Thiim in the No. 7 Pro class entry for the Sprint Cup. Thiim will share the car with Marco Sørensen and Mattia Drudi for the Endurance Cup continuing their popular partnership for the third consecutive season.
The seats for the Silver class No. 21 entry are to be filled by Arthur Dorison and Oliver Söderström for the Sprint Cup with the Swede joined by the aforementioned Kobe Pauwels and Sébastien Baud for the Endurance season.
Lastly, Marcelo Tomasoni will contest a complete campaign in the No. 11 Bronze Class entry and is set to be joined by Felice Jelmini in the Sprint Cup, with A.J Muss and Kyle Marcelli joining for the Endurance cup.

Max Verstappen may not (yet) be racing full-time in GT3, but he shines a light to the GTWC Europe through his team, Verstappen.com Racing. A multi-year partnership with Mercedes-AMG was announced in late 2025.
A single GT3 Evo from the German car-maker is entered with high-level signing Daniel Juncadella paired together with Gold cup champion Chris Lulham for the entire campaign. Mercedes works driver Jules Gounon joins them for the Endurance events.

Austrian-based Eastalent Racing return to the series after its 2025 absence and plan to contest the complete campaign for the first time with a single Audi R8 LMS Evo II. The successful pair of Christopher Haase and Simon Reicher continues into 2026 and are joined by a high-profile name, in Markus Winkelhock. The 45 year old completes Eastalent’s Pro entry as an Endurance only entrant.
Endurance Cup champions Rutronik Racing have confirmed at least one entry for the full 2026 campaign, after the German team switched manufacturers, as a ‘’comprehensive, multi-year strategic partnership’’ was announced between them and Lamborghini in late-2025.
The outfit will field the new Temerario GT3 and while no drivers have been officially confirmed as of today, Lamborghini’s factory talent is expected to fill the available seats, with Patric Niederhauser tipped to remain with Rutronik, given the fact that he has been announced as a Lamborghini factory driver.

Tresor Attempto Racing have confirmed at least one Audi R8 LMS Evo II to be run, with the highly-rated Italian Andrea Frassineti joining from VSR for a complete program, alongside series debutant Carrie Schreiner. A third endurance only driver is to be announced.
McLaren customer team Greystone GT has officially made the step up to the series after a one-off entry in the 2025 season finale. A single 720S GT3 Evo has been announced for the Silver class, with four McLaren juniors slated to drive: Jayden Kelly, Zac Meakin, Tommy Pintos and Josh Rattican
Danish team RaceGroup has confirmed plans to field a single Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo in the Endurance Cup, with a full Danish driver lineup, consisting of Simon Birch, Malte Ebdrup and Frederik Schandorff.

Walkenhorst Motorsport will contest the Sprint Cup with a single Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo, with the only confirmed driver so far being SRO GT Academy’s inaugural winner Gaspard Simon, as the Frenchman makes the step up to GT3 racing.
CSA Racing recently confirmed a McLaren 720S GT3 Sprint Cup Silver entry with Belgian Lorens Lecertua as the first official driver, with a second yet to be announced.
VSR and GRT have each been confirmed to enter at least one Lamborghini Temerario GT3 for the Sprint and Endurance Cups respectively but no drivers signings have been finalised as of yet. The same applies for the single planned Ford Mustang GT3 entry for Haupt Racing Team, as it is set to bolster the Sprint Cup ranks.
Finally, two more teams that are intending on participation but have yet to officially confirm any plans are Steller Motorsport and SR Motorsport by Schnitzelalm.
