The podium celebrations during a Formula One Grand Prix is an historical moment — one which acknowledges all the hard work that has gone into achieving this result.

A couple months ago, race week in Miami Grand Prix marked the fourteenth time a woman has stood on the F1 podium.

Though the list still remains small, every woman is important, and has a story that has impacted this sport positively — breaking gender barriers one step at a time.
