Jaguar have become the latest team to announce their driver line-up for the upcoming rookie test in Madrid, signing Japanese driver Juju Noda alongside Indy NXT racer Bryce Aron to take to the track in the following Formula E weekend.

Noda has previously tested with the team, having driven the Jaguar Formula E machine during the All Women Formula E test during pre-season testing in October 2025. She completed 79 laps across the test, running a steady pace throughout the two sessions of testing.
The Japanese racer has driven across various junior series in the past, racing in the Danish F4 championship in 2020, before taking on stints in the now-discontinued W Series and Euroformula Open, finishing eighth and taking one victory in 2023.
Noda also became the first woman to race in Super Formula when she completed her first season in the championship the following year, and is set to take part in her third Super Formula season in 2026.
Noda expressed her gratitude to the team for providing her another chance to test the Formula E Gen3 Evo car in Season 12, saying:
“I’m very grateful to Jaguar TCS Racing for giving me this opportunity - testing the Jaguar I‑TYPE 7 in Valencia last year was a fantastic experience, and the support and feedback from the team helped me grow a lot as a driver.
"To now take part in the official Rookie Test in Madrid is a big moment for me, and I’m excited to learn as much as I can and show what I’m capable of.”
Noda will be joined by American racer Bryce Aron. The 22-year-old took part in GB3 for two seasons in 2021 and 2022, driving for Carlin and Hitech respectively in the two seasons.

He later switched to the Euroformula Open series the following year, finishing fourth in his maiden season and taking three victories despite missing the final weekend of racing in Catalunya.
After competing in the Formula Regional Oceania Championship in the winter, Aron switched to IndyCar's feeder series IndyNXT. Driving for Andretti in 2024, he would finish ninth, scoring two podiums in his maiden year.
A switch to Chip Ganassi Racing the following year yielded 11th in the standings, as Aron prepares for his second year with the team in 2026. The American driver is yet to test a Formula E car, with the Madrid Rookie Test marking his first appearance in the all-electric championship.
“I’m really looking forward to join Jaguar TCS Racing for the Rookie Test in Madrid. With Formula E being a professional World Championship, I’m excited to have the chance to work with a team performing at such a high level – it's a huge opportunity for me.
"I will be looking to learn as much as possible from the engineers and drivers, and making the most of every lap,” Aron said, excited for the opportunity to test a Formula E car.
Jaguar team principal Ian James was delighted to announce the pair of youngsters representing his team in Madrid, and said:
“Over the past few races, the team has shown pace and resilience and turned that into strong results. That means that Madrid - which also marks António’s (António Felix da Costa) 150th start in the Championship - has the potential to be a particularly exciting moment in the season. We’re determined to continue building on the foundations we’ve laid.
“We’re also proud to be supporting the next generation of racing talent with both Juju and Bryce, who have already demonstrated exceptional ability and professionalism in their careers. This Rookie Test gives them a valuable opportunity and we’re looking forward to welcoming them to Circuito del Jarama and seeing how they take on this next step.”
Jaguar become the fifth team to announce their line-up for the Madrid Rookie Test, which will take place on Sunday, 22nd March, a day after the first ever Madrid E-Prix takes place.
