The 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix proved to be a weekend of deep frustration and disappointment for Scuderia Ferrari's drivers, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, with both men expressing immense dissatisfaction with their end results and overall performance.

Leclerc left "very frustrated" by strategy and stint struggles
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc secured a P6 finish after starting from P9 on the grid. He felt his early pace warranted much more and specifically pointed to what he believed was a strategy misstep in the first half of the race, leading to a loss of track position.
"I'm not sure," Leclerc said, "The strategy, I had a bit of a feeling in the car that we had done something wrong. I think Oscar was behind, he undercutted us. I think also Antonelli undercutted us." He lamented the lost opportunity, stressing that the pace was certainly there in the car during the opening stages.
The race became incredibly difficult for the Monégasque on his second stint. "On the second stint, I had Oscar in front that had a DRS of Kimi, and already I was on high downforce and it was nearly impossible to overtake... it was just impossible to overtake Oscar."
He concluded the race was "very frustrated about the end result," and noted his weekend was hindered by the wet qualifying session, a recurring issue that has cost the team valuable points.
Hamilton calls Las Vegas "a horrendous weekend"
For his Ferrari teammate Lewis Hamilton, the weekend was disastrous from the outset. After qualifying dead last in P20, Hamilton battled his way forward to secure a solitary point, finishing in P10.
However, the race was far from straightforward, as Hamilton confessed he "really struggled" with the car's early balance, specifically with the braking. "I was really struggling with the brakes that we have. Locking the fronts, locking the rears, there was just no in-between."
The race further deteriorated with contact: "Then I got some damage, I think, with the Williams, and then everything changed after that."
Hamilton's final reflection was brutally honest, calling it "a difficult weekend" and ultimately concluding, "A horrendous weekend. Just to add to the list."
