Fabio Quartararo topped an exciting qualifying day, with Marc Márquez struggling to find pace.

Qualifying 1
The Day at TT Assen began overcast, with conditions not expected to change much throughout the day.
The first incident of the Session came from Ai Ogura who was already through to Q2 provisionally with 10 minutes left on the clock.
Alex Rins and Enea Bastianini had a run in with Bastianini blocking Rins on a fast lap, resulting in a three-place penalty for the Italian rider, dropping him to P10 for the race on Sunday.
The rider of the #23 was deemed to have disturbed Rins at turns 9 and 10, the penalty will not be applied for the sprint later today, but only the race on Sunday.
The session ended with Raul Fernandes topping the session followed by Fermín Aldegeur who grabbed P2. Joan Mir missing out on a Q2 spot by .004 of a second finishing third in the session.

Qualifying 2
A very competitive Qualifying 2 session set the grid for what is expected to be a brilliant race here at the DutchGP.
Fabio Qaurtararo topped the session to grab pole position with a time of 1:30.651 followed by Pecco Bagnaia only 0.028s behind and Alex Marquez completing the front row on the Gresini.
The Yamaha seems to have the pace around the Cathedral of Speed, Giving the rider of the #20 his 20th pole becoming only the third rider to do so the Italian-Japanese team. The shock of the session was Marc Marquez who grabbed P4, following a mistake on his final flying lap and will be on the back foot, for the Sprint Race later on. Marquez will start off the front row for only the second time this season.
The Spaniard, fresh from his Italian Grand Prix win will be hoping to make a clean start and move up the field to further his championship lead, setting us up for a thrilling weekend of action at the TT.
Lights out for the Sprint race at Assen is 15:00 local time.
