Following his strong victory at the São Paulo Grand Prix, Lando Norris spoke about how he found his great form and is looking at how McLaren can improve moving forward.

Norris started the race in first and took the victory in São Paulo. He has managed to increase the Drivers’ Championship points gap between himself and Oscar Piastri to 24 (Norris with 390, Piastri with 366).
Following the race, Norris spoke about his race: "Crazy race! Nice to win here in Brazil. It's an amazing track, amazing fans.
"This was for one of my mentors Gil [de Ferran]. A perfect weekend."
Norris fell behind Piastri for a while this season before being able to retake the title lead. On how he has found his form again, he said: "Just ignore everyone that talks c**p about you! Just focus on yourself. The team is doing an amazing job, giving me a great car.
"We are pushing hard every single weekend and I'm pushing hard away from the track.
"It doesn't come easy. To be honest, I don't think we were the quickest today but I'm glad to take home the win."
Norris spoke more on how he hopes to improve for the remaining three rounds of the season. After seeing Max Verstappen’s phenomenal recovery drive, starting from the pit lane and finishing the race in third, Norris is hoping to improve McLaren’s pace:
"It's a great win. But seeing how quick Max was, it's disappointing we were not quicker.
"That's where my mind is at the minute. I will see the team, congratulate them, and see why we were not quick enough.
"There's a long way to go. It can change so quickly. I will focus on myself, keep my head down, ignore everyone and keep pushing."
In two weeks time, Formula One will return to Las Vegas. Norris is ready to keep focusing on his journey towards the World Championship and looks to maintain his lead in the title fight.
