After finishing third on the road during the Feature Race at Spa-Francorchamps, Invicta Racing’s Roman Staněk has inherited the race victory. This amendment to the results makes it a win in both races for Invicta Racing, after his teammate Leonardo Fornaroli took to the top step in the Sprint.

Alex Dunne, who had converted pole position into the race win, was handed a 10-second post-race penalty after failing to engage the start-up procedure in breach of Article 1.6.1 of the FIA Formula 2 Technical Regulations. As a result, the Irishman drops to ninth place.

Second-placed Arvid Lindblad was disqualified for an infringement upon Article 10.4.3 of the Technical Regulations, after the FIA Technical Delegate found his tyre pressures to be below the limit.

As a result, Ritomo Miyata and Luke Browning now join Staněk in second and third place respectively.

Fornaroli moves into the championship lead after being promoted to fifth, now three points ahead of Richard Verschoor who had occupied the top spot heading into the weekend. Furthermore, Invicta Racing have taken the Teams’ championship lead from Campos Racing, now 13 points ahead of the Spanish team.
