High Class Racing have announced that they have parterned with Isotta Fraschini and Michelotto Engineering to revive the Tipo 6 LMH program.
The team aims to run and develop the Le Mans Hypercar in the 2026/27 Asian Le Mans Series' (AsLMS) brand new Hypercar class. The team have also said that they will evaluate the possibility of a two-car World Endurance Championship (WEC) effort in 2027 when speaking to Dailysportscar.
Previously the car ran under the Isotta Fraschini banner in the WEC in 2024 in partnership with Duqiene Engineering, with a best result of 14th at Le Mans. The program didn't last long, with only five of the eight rounds completed before it was cancelled after the Brazil round.
In a statement the team said; "The partnership will focus on further unlocking the car’s potential through targeted testing and refinement work, particularly in areas such as energy management and aerodynamic performance."
High Class Racing owner Anders Fjordbach added "We are excited to embark on a new chapter with the Tipo 6 LMH-C, and there is no one better to take this journey with than our valued partners at Michelotto Engineering and Isotta Fraschini Milano.
“We have been highly impressed not only by the on-track performance of the Tipo 6 LMH-C, but also by the professionalism, passion, and dedication demonstrated by our new partners at Michelotto Engineering and Isotta Fraschini Milano.
“Together, we look forward to building a successful future and taking on new challenges at the highest level of endurance racing.”
