The IMSA SportsCar Championship have revealed their 2026 calendar ahead of the 2025 12 Hours of Sebring, with Road America the latest addition to the Michelin Endurance Cup.

The biggest change heading into 2026 will see the race at Road America in August become a part of the Michelin Endurance Cup in place of the event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which previously held a six hour event. The race at Indianapolis will still be held as the penultimate round of the championship, but now as a 2 hour and 40 minute race.

Outside of this swapping of race lengths, the calendar remains largely unchanged from 2025, with the season beginning with the traditional ‘36 Hours of Florida’, with the Rolex 24 at Daytona running from the 21st - 25th of January, and then the 12 Hours of Sebring running from the 18th - 21st of March. These events will follow after the season opening ‘Roar Before the 24’ test which will take place the week before the Rolex 24.

After that, the GTP and GTD classed cars will travel across the country to California and the streets of Long Beach on the 17th and 18th of April, the first sprint race of the year. The crews will then travel up to Laguna Seca for the second 2 hour and 40 minute race, and will be joined by the GTD Pro crews, who won’t appear at Long Beach.

GTP and GTD Pro then head to the Streets of Detroit on the 29th and 30th of May, before the return of the Endurance Cup at the Six Hours of the Glen from the 25th - 28th of June, where all four classes will feature, marking the first running of LMP2 classed cars in IMSA since March.

LMP2 will headline the next event at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, alongside both GT classes from July 10th - 12th. The aforementioned Road America race will take place from the 30th of July through to the 2nd of August, where all four classes will be present for the Endurance Cup, before the traditional GT only round at Virginia International Raceway from August 21st - 23rd.

GTP, LMP2, GTD Pro, and GTD will all be present for the final two rounds of the championship, at Indianapolis (September 18th - 20th) and at Road Atlanta for Petit Le Mans (September 30th - October 3rd) for the 10 hour event to round off the season.

Whether it’s the open banks of Daytona, the bumps of Sebring or the streets of Detroit, the IMSA SportsCar Championship is sure to provide endless action across the 11-race calendar in 2026.
