03:07 - DRAMA! The No.01 Cadillac leading the race has lost its' headlights on the penultimate lap of the race, the lights coming on infrequently
03:02 - With just a handful of laps remaining, the No.01 Cadillac that went an entire lap down, could take victory at Road Atlanta. Meanwhile, Ross Gunn is going after the GTD Pro leaders in order to win this championship.
03:00 - The No.24 BMW DRIVE-THROUGH PENALTY for an incident on track.
02:55 - The No.01 Cadillac now snatches the lead of the race with just 15 minutes remaining, the No.6 Porsche caught napping at Turn 1 with a huge divebomb up the inside of the Porsche into Turn 1 from the Cadillac.
02:50 - Felipe Nasr is poised to bring home the No.7 Porsche in 4th place and claim an extraordinary IMSA GTP Championship victory.
02:47 - Gunn needs to overtake the No.62 Ferrari for the championship, the pair separated by less than a second as the GTP field catches up to the pair of them!
02:42 - Ross Gunn sets the fastest lap in the GTD field, Gunn's No.23 Aston Martin just 4 points behind the No.77 Porsche. Gunn has to overtake one of the cars ahead to win the championship.
02:40 - 30 MINUTES REMAINING - No.6 Porsche leads from the No.01 Cadillac behind
02:39 - No.70 McLaren GTD has been given a DRIVE-THROUGH PENALTY
02:37 - Nick Tandy in the No.6 Porsche leads from the No.01 Cadillac as the No.7 Porsche attempts to overtake the No.24 BMW for third place.
02:36 - GREEN FLAG
02:33 - Ross Gunn is going to be right behind the drivers ahead of him after initially being over 40 seconds down. Gunn needs to overtake just one car ahead, to claim the championship win.
02:24 - Ross Gunn in the No.23 Aston Martin comes into the pits, with Gunn slipping back to third once again. A reminder, Gunn needs to finish inside the Top 2 to win the GTD Pro championship.
02:23 - Felipe Nasr in the No.7 Porsche Penske has not come into the pits, this may have consequences in the final half hour of this race.
02:18 - This huge accident has left the No.10 Acura with heavy damage on the left side of the car, it is unlikely that the Acura will return to the circuit.
02:14 - Ricky Taylor in the No.10 Acura has had a crash in the final hour with the No.55 Ford Mustang GTD, a huge crash which has left debris all over the circuit.
02:14 - FULL COURSE YELLOW
02:05 - The No.12 Lexus GTD had its' brake discs on fire in the pit lane after previously coming to a stop at the side of the circuit.
01:59 - Ricky Taylor in the No.10 Acura had managed to snatch the lead of the race back from the No.6 Porsche, however ran wide coming out of the pits at the first braking zone, losing the lead once again. Meanwhile, the No.01 Cadillac and other GTP leaders come into the pits.
01:57 - The leaders come in for their final pit stops of the season, the No.10 Acura and No.6 Porsche both in the pit lane and separated by a few seconds.
01:44 - Large gaps separate the field as we approach the final pit stop phases, a lengthy green flag period has also played a role in the race being spread out a lot more.
01:34 - Ross Gunn, who needs to finish in 2nd or higher to win the GTD Pro championship, is sitting in third place aboard the No.23 Aston Martin, however the No.23 Aston Martin has managed to take out 5 seconds from the leaders, with just an hour and a half remaining.
01:28 - The gap between the leaders is just 1.5 seconds, as Nick Tandy now leads aboard the No.6 Porsche, with the No.10 Acura of Ricky Taylor chasing amongst the lapped traffic as well.
01:23 - Jesse Krohn has pitted aboard the No.24 BMW with just under 2 hours remaining, they might be able to make it to the end of the race with some fuel and energy saving, as the other cars re-overtake the BMW.

01:06 - The No.01 Cadillac has spun off with cold tyres after coming out of the pits, with suspected contact with the Iron Dames meanwhile the No.21 Ferrari GTD also runs off the circuit
01:04 - Filipe Albuquerque has brought the No.10 Acura into the pits for their penultimate planned pit stop of the season, with the No.7 Porsche following them in just a few seconds later.
01:02 - Ross Gunn in the No.23 Aston Martin Heart of Racing, must finish inside the Top 2 to win the GTD Pro Championship after the No.77 Porsche (Rexy) car ran into problems throughout the race. The Porsche will likely still score some points, and was ahead going into the finale, so Gunn's Aston Martin needs to finish in the Top 2. Gunn is currently running in third, around 45 seconds behind the leader.
00:54 - To recap, Filipe Albuquerque leads the race in the No.10 Acura, with the No.6 Porsche Penske just under 10 seconds away, currently being driven by Mathieu Jaminet.
00:44 - The No.52 Inter Europol LMP2 car must remain within the Top 5 to take the championship, the Inter Europol sits in fifth place.
00:41 - Nicklas Nielsen in the No.88 AF Corse LMP2 made contact with a GTD car as the No.88 sinks further back in the battle for the LMP2 victory.
00:39 - There has not been a Full Course yellow for a number of hours, and it has led to huge gaps throughout the field, as some teams await getting a wave around to unlap themselves with just 2 hours and 30 minutes remaining.
00:34 - The No.40 Acura has not activated its' rear lights, and as we plunge into darkness, the No.40 Acura might be taking a Black Flag in the near future to fix the problem.
00:26 - The No.7 Porsche Penske car skips across the chicane at the top of the hill at Turn 3, potentially cold tyres led to the championship leading Porsche losing time.
00:25 - Matt Campbell comes into the pits for the No.7 Porsche Penske, the No.10 Acura reclaims the lead whilst on an alternate strategy to those around.
00:23 - No.65 Ford Mustang has received a BLACK FLAG and must come into the pits to scrutineer their car, the Ford has been in the mix for a potential victory in the GTD Pro class.
00:20 - The No.99 AO Racing car has been brought back into the pits after smoke was seen pouring from the car, the dinosaur-liveried cars not performing too well this weekend.
00:19 - Debris on the circuit after contact between the GTD cars, debris on the circuit has already given a GTP car a puncture, therefore there may be a full course yellow coming.

00:07 - Jordan Pepper in the No.19 Lamborghini now closes down on the No.62 Ferrari in GTD Pro, the pair separated by a couple of seconds, the Ferrari leading the GTD Pro class.
00:01 - Mathieu Jaminet in the No.6 Porsche Penske runs in 2nd place, closing down on the leading No.10 Acura as the No.7 Porsche Penske runs nearly a full minute down on the leaders, despite running in 3rd place.
23:51 - The No.52 Inter Europol LMP2 championship leader now comes in for their stop, the No.52 duelling with the No.74 Riley Motorsports car in the standings, as we approach the final few hours.
23:47 - In LMP2, the current championship standings see the No.52 Inter Europol car taking the championship over the No.74 Riley Motorsports car by just over 10 points.
23:42 - Filipe Albuquerque leads the GTP class in the No.10 Acura as the Porsche's are both closing on the Acura.
23:26 - As the sun begins to set on Road Atlanta, the leader of GTP, the No.7 Porsche Penske, comes in for their stop, with Dane Cameron jumping out of the car.
23:23 - Davide Rigon brings the No.62 Ferrari into the pits, the leaders of GTD Pro changing drivers as Le Mans 24 Hours 2023 winner Alessandro Pier Guidi now gets into the car.
23:18 - The No.01 Cadillac makes a mistake at Turn 3 as Bourdais took a large amount of kerb.
23:17 - Dane Cameron into the pits for the No.7 Porsche Penske, Brendon Hartley will reclaim the lead of the race on the alternate strategy for the No.10 Acura.
23:16 - The No.6 Porsche Penske comes into the pits, as the No.01 Cadillac comes in as well from 4th place. Scott Dixon hands the Cadillac over to Sebastien Bourdais.
23:12 - Damage to the left rear of the No.40 Acura, Colton Herta drops off the lead lap after bringing the Acura into the pit lane
23:10 - No.5 Porsche of Gianmaria Bruni has been given a drive-through penalty
23:02 - The No.10 Acura leads! Three car battle for the lead has emerged, as the No.6 Porsche has been able to catch up to the No.10 Acura and No.7 Porsche. Less than a second between the top three as the Porsches swap positions.
22:42 - DRIVE-THROUGH for the leading GTP, the No.6 Porsche, for responsibility during the turn 3 contact with the No.47 Ferrari. Nick Tandy serves the drive-through, about 25 seconds, dropping to third. The GTP championship-leading No.7 Porsche leads.
22:38 - The No.47 Ferrari has been tapped at the exit of turn 3 by the No.6 Porsche. The Ferrari spins and goes into the wall but luckily no damage.
22:30 - Big battle in the pit stops for the No.31 Cadillac and No.40 Acura, and a driver change in the leading No.6 Porsche. Lead changes through the pit stop phases in all four classes.
22:20 - Change in lead in GTD Pro, as both there are pit stops for both the No.62 Ferrari and the No.23 Aston Martin. This means the No.64 Ford Mustang leads, though the No.19 Lamborghini is not far behind.
22:10 - With points being provided for the Michelin Endurance Cup after the 4-hour and 8-hour mark, as well as after the finish, the No.7 Porsche provisionally won the Michelin Endurance Cup after leading at the 4-hour mark.

22:02 - There is a lead change in GTD. After being very close since the restart, the No.78 Lamborghini has passed the No.120 Porsche.
21:59 - The No.25 BMW has officially retired.
21:43 - Three cars get a penalty for pit lane incidents, including the No.63 Lamborghini.
21:40 - The No.5 Porsche and the No.31 Cadillac have a little touch, and some bodywork comes off the Porsche.
21:38 - As the No.6 Porsche and the No.10 Acura battle for the lead, the No.52 Inter Europol spins.

21:27 - The No.22 United Autosports has crashed at the pit entry tyre wall after not being able to slow down out of turn 11, and locking up on the pit entry road.
21:25 - The No.57 Mercedes pits after a puncture under FCY. The front-right tyre was reported to have a slash on its' side.
21:15 - The No.2 United Autosports was able to come back onto the track their earlier incident, however Ben Keating has crashed the ORECA after a currently unknown issue.

21:05 - The No.25 BMW has stopped for fuel, tyres, and a driver change. However, the mechanics have also screwed out the rear end to investigate an issue.
21:00 - Currently, the GTD class has the largest lead of all four classes, with the No.120 Porsche leading by over 30 seconds. The No.62 Ferrari has a sizeable 5 second lead to the No.19 Lamborghini in GTD Pro. The No.11 TDS Racing and No.6 Porsche have both less than a two-second lead to the LMP2 and GTP leaders respectively.
20:45 - The No.9 Mclaren has had another mechanical black flag for tyre pressure requirements. They have fallen down to tenth in GTD Pro.
20:43 - The No.88 AF Corse has pitted, and comes out 14.7 seconds ahead of second place.
20:33 - The No.88 AF Corse is now the only car on the lead lap in LMP2, after lapping the No.99 AO Racing.

20:10 - The No.24 BMW has been spun round by the No.31 Whelen Cadillac, and while re-joining, the BMW tapped a battling No.01 Cadillac.
20:00 - The No.14 Lexus has stopped on the service road at turn 7, with smoke under the hood.
19:55 - The No.9 McLaren has been given a drive-through penalty for the contact with that Ferrari GTD car, after only just fixing their rear left puncture.
19:52 - The No.9 McLaren made contact with one of the Ferrari GTD's, the McLaren now picking up a left rear puncture.
19:47 - The No.7 Porsche of Felipe Nasr now inherits the lead, the leaders in the championship now taking the lead of this race.
19:45 - The No.40 Acura of Jordan Taylor is the net leader of the race after deciding not to pit in the first hour of the race and take track position, the Acura now taking the net lead after the No.31 Cadillac had to serve a penalty for overtaking under yellow flags.
19:40 - No.01 Cadillac DRIVE-THROUGH PENALTY for contact
19:37 - Jack Aitken's No.31 Cadillac has served their Drive-Through penalty, they rejoin further behind a number of cars
19:35 - The No.77 Porsche (Rexy) has another problem as their championship hopes might be about to get destroyed. The No.77 Porsche limps back to the pits with a steering wheel issue. They do still lead the championship.
19:30 - The GTP's now come in for their pit stops, the first to come in are Jack Aitken's No.31 Cadillac and the No.25 BMW of Nick Yelloly. The rest of the field follow suite after a few laps with the No.5 Porsche of Picariello in the lead. Jack Aitken's No.31 Cadillac is the net leader/
19:25 - The No.74 Riley Motorsport car LMP2 has been spun around at Turn 6, the No.74 now falls outside the Top 5
19:22 - The gap between the leading two cars in GTP is only one second, with Aitken leading the way in the No.31 Cadillac, the No.7 Porsche trailing comfortably as the pair both approach heavy traffic.
19:20 - The LMP2's now come in for their pit stops, mostly the teams are deciding to refuel, not to change tyres or drivers just yet.

19:08 - The No.77 Porsche (Rexy) has a slightly cracked windscreen, but they currently lead the championship after the No.23 Aston Martin was overtaken
19:05 - The No.19 Lamborghini of Jordan Pepper has overtaken the No.23 Aston Martin, the Aston Martin has to win in order to take the IMSA GTD Pro Championship.
19:03 - The No.18 Era Motorsport LMP2 has been spun around once again going downhill at the end of the first sector.
19:00 - Currently, the No.23 Aston Martin would win the GTD Pro championship if the race were to finish as it stands
18:57 - Aitken in the No.31 Cadillac still leads the race, just half a second ahead of the No.7 Porsche of Matt Campbell, meanwhile Ricky Taylor in the No.10 Acura sits in third place.

18:44 - The No.7 Porsche now chases the No.31 Cadillac for the lead of the race, the No.7 Porsche does lead the championship.
18:42 - The No.77 Porsche (Rexy) Has stopped on the side of the road, the GTD Pro championship leaders running into problems after leading the race earlier on.
18:40 - The entire Top 6 in GTP are all separated by just a couple of seconds, as Aitken regains the lead for the No.31 Cadillac, The No.40 Acura now losing multiple places
18:38 - The No.40 Acura is attempting to conserve fuel, as they came in just a few laps before the rest of the field. They may have been able to make up an entire pit stop, however it will require fuel conservation. Meanwhile, Aitken in the No.31 Cadillac has closed right onto the rear bumper of the Acura.
18:37 - The No.023 Ferrari has been given a DRIVE-THROUGH PENALTY for a pit stop infringement
18:35 - The No.77 Porsche (Rexy) has lost multiple places in GTD Pro after the restart, the car seemingly struggling with gear selection

18:25 - The GTP leaders come back into the pits for another stop, as the No.40 Acura will now regain a lap
18:20 - After pitting under the Green Flag conditions, The No.40 Acura of Jordan Taylor has actually gone an entire lap down.
18:19 - Contact between the leading No.2 United Autosports LMP2 car and the No.4 Corvette GTD Pro car - the LMP2 No.2 is limping back to the pits with a broken suspension after contact at Turn 6.

18:07 - Aitken has closed the gap between his No.31 Cadillac and the leading No.40 Acura, the gap came down to around 8 seconds before being put back to 10 seconds due to traffic.
18:01 - Aitken in the No.31 Cadillac has overtaken Picariello in the No.5 Porsche for second place in GTP at Turn 1, although Taylor leads in the No.40 Acura by around 12 seconds.
17:55 - Torque censor issues for the No.01 Cadillac caused the black flag early on, Bourdais working hard to unlap themselves.
17:51 - The No.5 Porsche GTP has managed to overtake Aitken in the No.31 Cadillac, now the No.7 Porsche of Nick Tandy comes through to seize third place - Aitken loses two places, before quickly regaining third off Tandy's No.6 Porsche. Drama in the GTP field.
17:50 - The No.31 Cadillac of Aitken has closed right onto the back of Jordan Taylor in the No.40 Acura, the pair separated by just half a second, with the Acura needing to make a pit stop.
17:48 - No.20 LMP2 of Anderson has been given a pit lane speeding penalty, DRIVE-THROUGH for the No.20 LMP2 that was running at the back of the grid.

17:37 - Jordan Taylor in the No.40 Acura has stayed out, followed by the No.24 BMW of Philipp Eng, the pair now lead the race with the net race leading No.31 Cadillac in third.
17:35 - The GTP leaders all come into the pits after only 25 minutes of racing, most cars only to refuel

17:31 - The No.80 Mercedes, leading the GTD class, is in the gravel and beached.
17:29 - The No.25 BMW in 2nd in GTP is being attacked by the No.7 Porsche, the championship leading car.
17:28 - Mechanical BLACK FLAG for Car 01 - Cadillac No.01 called into the pits for IMMEDIATE mechanical scrutineering - They come into the pits from 4th place.
17:27 - The leaders in each class all lead by a couple of seconds to the next car behind in class, a relatively quiet start to the race.
17:22 - The No.01 Cadillac currently driven by Sebastien Bourdais, has been given a warning for technical infringement, the car currently runs in 4th place.
17:19 - The GTP leaders have finally caught the GTD traffic after just 10 minutes, the No.25 BMW is closing on Jack Aitken's No.31 Cadillac for the lead.
17:15 - The field have all kept their noses clean at the beginning, across all classes. Aitken leads in the No.31 Cadillac, Ben Keating leads LMP2 in the No.2 and Lauren Heinrich leads in the No.77 Porsche (Rexy) for the GTD Pro class.
17:12 - Aitken leads in the No.31 Cadillac, he has built the lead to a couple of seconds. Meanwhile, the No.25 BMW has jumped the Championship leading No.7 Porsche, the BMW now in second place!
