Sting Ray Robb will return to Juncos Hollinger Racing (JHR) for 2026, ending months of speculation about the American's future with the team.

The 24-year-old will enter his fourth IndyCar season with his return to Juncos marking the first time that Robb has stayed with a team for a second season. He will line-up alongside Rinus VeeKay after the Dutch driver moved from Dale Coyne Racing in the off-season.

"This season is massive for me, and I'm embracing it fully,” Robb said. “It's my first opportunity to run with the same team for a second season and I'm ready for what it demands. The key for me is the continuity – working with the established team people and the newer faces we all trust, with everyone focused on elevating across all areas.

“Having Dave experience at the helm has been huge. You can feel the way his racing pedigree shapes our processes, the way he leads the room, and the overall professionalism. Pair that with the insight from Adam Carroll and the six seasons of experience Rinus brings as a teammate, and it feels like the whole operation is headed in the right direction. I'm excited to have Rinus as a teammate – we’re aligned, we’re hungry, and we’re ready to fight towards the front together.”

2025 saw Robb finish 25th in the standings, highlighted by an equal-career best finish of ninth on the Streets of Long Beach. Robb's No.77 entry finished outside the Leader's Circle, missing the all-important approximate $1 million bonus provided to the teams by IndyCar to the top 22 entries in the standings.

“Sting Ray is a key pillar in the structure we’re building for 2026,” JHR team principal Dave O’Neill said. “His commitment and approach match the ambition driving this team forward. We took meaningful steps this year, but we know there’s far more potential to unlock and 2026 is our chance to convert that progress into real performance gains. With the continuity Sting Ray provides, combined with the pace, experience and race-winning pedigree Rinus brings, we believe this line-up gives us the firepower to move up the order quickly.”

Robb's future in the team has been uncertain ever since the season finale at Nashville, but Robb and his management team have consistently re-affirmed the American's plan to return to the team. Juncos' updated their website last week which had their second driver listed as 'TBA' alongside VeeKay which create further doubt over Robb's future, but today's confirmation dispels any question marks.

The only remaining seat yet to be confirmed for 2026 is the second Dale Coyne Racing seat alongside Dennis Hauger, after Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing confirmed Mick Schumacher last week.

The 2026 IndyCar season starts on the Streets of St. Petersburg on March 1st 2026.
