Oliver Rowland had a successful weekend at the Berlin E-Prix, scoring two podiums. He spoke to DIVEBOMB following the race, reflecting on what had happened and how he could improve ahead of Race Two.

Following the race, Rowland shared his experience during the Berlin E-Prix:
"It was a difficult race in Madrid and I have had a couple of difficult races this year so to be on the podium is really good. I had a lot to deal with, to be honest during the race and it was a race that I really enjoyed . You know it was super up and down but I think the team executed it well and yeah, really, really pleased."
PIT BOOST was reintroduced to Race One, alongside Attack Mode, and it had varied reactions amongst drivers. When asked, the reigning world champion said:
" I was just reacting to the others. They all got in quite early, I stayed out and luckily picked up a slipstream which was quite fortunate for me. And then the Attack Mode, you never really know. Actually when I took it the team told me 'no, don’t take it' but it was too late, I was already in it so yeah."
So far in Season 12, Rowland has struggled in qualifying. He has an average qualifying position of 10.5 and opened up on what has been the issue:
"I’ve been struggling a little bit for confidence in qualifying this year, I decided this morning to prioritise 300 (kW) laps, so for me it’s like if I get through it’s a bonus and it’s pressure off a little bit and then I just go for it at 350 (kW) so it’s always for me the first goal is to make it into the top four and then anything after that is a bonus."
