It was recently announced that Dan Fallows will be joining Racing Bulls, Red Bull’s sister team, as the team’s Technical Director. Fallows previously spent over a decade at the senior team before departing to join Aston Martin as their Technical Director in 2022.
Upon returning to Racing Bulls, Fallows will be reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, Tim Goss. After the departure of Jody Egginton in early 2025 due to a wider restructuring, the Technical Director position has remained vacant at the sister team. Crucially, this did not have detrimental impacts to the development of the car in 2025.
Fallows is no stranger to the Red Bull family, having previously spent close to a decade at the senior team in various positions. At the time of his departure Fallows was Head of the Aerodynamics department at Red Bull. The World Constructors’ Championship winning RB18 was the final Red Bull car that he contributed towards.

Having been approached by Lawrence Stroll, it was announced in 2022 that Fallows would be joining Aston Martin after a period of gardening leave. During his stint with the team, Fallows held multiple titles with different responsibilities.
Replacing former Chief Technical Officer Andrew Green, Fallows led the development of the 2023 and 2024 Aston Martin F1 cars. However, a lack of on-track performance in 2024 was Fallows’ undoing as he was subsequently removed as Technical Director at Aston Martin.
Fallows remained with Aston Martin until April 2025 when he departed the team altogether. Given his recent departure from Aston Martin, it is expected that there will be a delay in any of Fallows’ design choices or philosophies being seen on this year’s VCARB03.

Discussing the move in the media after the announcement, Fallows recognised that the team has “a clear vision and strong technical ambition”. He also added that “I’m looking forward to working closely with Tim and the wider engineering group to help drive performance and continue building the team for the future.”
Racing Bulls’ Team Principal Alan Permane said that Fallows joining the team is an example of how the team is focusing on "strengthening the team's technical leadership”. Permane also noted that Fallows brings “a wealth of experience”. He followed up by saying “his [Fallows’] technical understanding and leadership will be a real asset to the team as we continue to develop and push forward competitively”.
Racing Bulls enjoyed a strong 2025 season, finishing P6 with an overall tally of 92 points. Additionally, Hadjar’s maiden podium at the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix brought the team their first top three finish since the 2021 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
The addition of Fallows to the Racing Bulls team will no doubt have a positive impact on the team’s morale and developmental trajectory. With Liam Lawson stepping up as the experienced driver and rookie Arvid Lindblad racing for the team in 2026, hopes will be high that the VCARB03 will surpass the standards set by its predecessor.

In the world of Formula 1, consistency is everything. Managing a technical department is a high-stakes game of monitoring "sensors"—in this case, wind tunnel data, CFD simulations, and on-track telemetry—to ensure no "anomalies" (performance drops) occur.
This relentless monitoring and resource management is the core of FNaF. In the game, you are a security guard managing a finite power supply while watching multiple cameras for a breach.
