The 94th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans is set to take place in June this year. The World Endurance Championship have revealed the entry list to the most iconic and prestigious endurance race in the world.

With 62 entries, the 2026 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans is set to be busy, with a stacked line-up of drivers, teams and manufacturers.

Genesis to make Hypercar debut with experienced line-up

South Korean manufacturer, Genesis, will make their debut in the Hypercar class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year, and have acquired some very experienced sportscar drivers in the process. In the No.19 Genesis GMR-001 Hypercar, is Paul-Loup Chatin, who has won the ELMS championship on numerous occasions. Mathieu Jaminet also joins the squad, the 2025 IMSA Champion with Porsche Penske and finally, Daniel Juncadella - an accomplished GT racing champion.

W Series Champion and sportscar driver, Jamie Chadwick, will also serve as the reserve driver for Genesis.

Ex-F1 driver makes debut alongside new generation of drivers

Former F1 driver, Logan Sargeant, will be making his debut at Le Mans later this year, driving in the LMGT3 class with a Ford Mustang. Sargeant makes his debut at Le Mans shortly before Ford race in the Hypercar class, with the iconic American manufacturer entering the Hypercar class in 2027, likely with Sargeant at the wheel of one of their cars.

Théo Pourchaire, 2023 F2 Champion, will be driving full-time in the WEC with Peugeot in 2026 as the young Frenchman looks to make another step in his accomplished career. Another champion coming from the world of single-seaters, is Victor Martins, who will be racing for Alpine. Martins is an F3 champion and won a race in F2 last season.

F1 Academy Champion, Doriane Pin, will also be stepping up to compete at Le Mans for a second time, driving for Duqueine Team Oreca 07 - Gibson in the LMP2 class. Pin currently also holds a role within the Mercedes F1 Team as their development driver. Lilou Wadoux will also compete for the fourth time at Le Mans, in the LMGT3 class with Ferrari.

Some of the largest names to race at Le Mans over the past couple of years are now absent from the grid, 9-time MotoGP champion - Valentino Rossi. Formula 3 and Formula 2 champion - Mick Schumacher and 2009 F1 World Champion - Jenson Button.

Button retired from full-time professional racing at the end of 2025, completing his career with Cadillac.

Despite a successful Hypercar test and several podiums in the WEC, Rossi has opted to compete in less races overall in 2026, with The Doctor now racing full-time in the GT World Challenge Europe, with occasional races in the Intercontinental GT Challenge, like last week's Bathurst 12 Hour, where he secured a podium finish.

Mick Schumacher left Alpine after two seasons to compete in the IndyCar championship, racing with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. The absence of some of the most iconic names and faces will certainly leave an impact on the WEC and Le Mans.

The Hypercar manufacturers at Le Mans will consist of: Aston Martin, Toyota, Cadillac, BMW, Genesis, Alpine, Ferrari and Peugeot. This will be the final outing at Le Mans for Alpine, and the last Le Mans before the highly anticipated arrivals of Ford and McLaren to the Hypercar class.
