The entry list for the GT World Challenge Spa 24 Hours has been released, and it's a big one. 76 cars will compete for the top step, a record number for the famous race.
On the same day the Prologue test takes place, the SRO have revealed who will be racing on the 29th - 30th June 2025.
The grid will be split into five classes: Pro, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Pro-Am. Each car will be under the same technical regulations, but the car's class is decided depending on who is driving.
The Pro class consists of 21 cars, the Gold cup only 12 and the Silver cup 17 cars. The Bronze will be a 19 car field, much larger than previous years, while the final seven cars will be in the Pro-Am class
Nine manufacturers become 10, as Corvette join the grid this year, with the Z06 GT3.R, a name which sounds as cool as the car looks. Corvette is no stranger to the Spa 24 Hours, having won the race overall in 2007 and 2009. Steller Motorsports will race two of the American cars, while Johor Motorsports will race with the third.
11 BMW M4 GT3 EVO's will start the race, five of which are with Team WRT. One of which is due to be driven by seven time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi, Formula 1 driver Kevin Magnussen and Formula E driver René Rast.
HRT Ford Performance are entering two Ford Mustang GT3's; one of the Fords is a silver car, and the other a pro car, driven by Arjun Maini, Jann Mardenborough and Thomas Drouet. The Ford race cars are looking to continue their success in 2025, after a class win at the Daytona 24 Hours.
Goodsmile racing will host an all Japanese lineup in their Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, which will be one of 12 Mercedes entered. The strongest Mercedes lineup is No.48 Team MANN-FILTER car, driven by Lucas Auer, Matteo Cairoli and Maro Engel. The car will be driven with famous mamba livery.
Porsche will bring some strong teams to the 24 Hour race, most noticeably the No.18 Dinamic GT car of Matt Campbell, Bastian Buus and Mathieu Jaminet, and the No.22 Schumacher CLRT car driven by Ayhancan Güven, Laurin heinrich and Klaus Bachler.
AF Corse are entering two Ferrari 296 GT3s, each car will have a Le Mans winner leading the team, Antonio Fuoco in the No.50 and Alessandro Pier Guidi in the No.51.
Although the Verstappen.com crew have been racing a Ferrari in the GTWC EU (GT World Challenge EU) Sprint Series, Harry King, Chris Lulham and Thierry Vermeulen will be driving the No.33 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO in the Gold class.
Two Aston Martins will also be raced in the Pro class, one of which is the returning No.7 car who won the race last year at the hands of Mattia Drudi, Nicki Thiim and Marco Sorensen, the drivers will remain the same for this year.
Lamborghini have six cars racing, two of which are in the Pro class. The No.63 Grasser Racing Team of Mirko Bortolotti, Jordan Pepper and Luca Engstler will be driving one of the Pro entries, while Marco Mapelli, Sandy Mitchell and Franch Perera will drive the No.163.
McLaren have seven cars on the grid, but just one Pro car. Audi also have seven cars, but none are pro, this is a result of Audi stopping their development on the R8 GT3, to focus their efforts on Formula 1.
The Spa 24 Hours can be watched on YouTube from the 25th to the 29th June 2025.
