Nissan Formula E have announced that they will be running two drivers for the Miami FP0 session, becoming the only team to do so. They will be represented by their rookie and simulator driver, Abbi Pulling, as well as Formula Two racer Gabriele Minì.

Abbi Pulling is a very experienced driver, not only has she won several titles in throughout her career, she has tested the Formula E GEN3 Evo on many occasions. Pulling first joined the Japanese manufacturer in October 2024 for the Jarama women's test. During the test she was the fastest driver, lapping three tenths faster than second place Jamie Chadwick.
Throughout her time with Nissan, Pulling has attended several E-Prix race weekends and her continued simulator work has allowed the team to continue developing their car. An advantage that the Briton may have is that she has previously raced at the Miami International Autodrome, winning two races there during her F1 Academy title campaign.
In 2026, Pulling will be contesting her second GB3 season with Rodin Motorsport, a team that she has raced for since 2023.

Gabriele Minì will be joining the team for FP0 in Miami following a collaboration between Nissan Formula E Team and Alpine Racing. The Italian racer is a member of the Alpine Academy and has tested for Nissan in both 2024 and 2025.
During the 2025 Berlin Rookie Test, Minì was the fastest driver on track.
In 2026, the 20-year-old will be competing in his second full season in Formula Two, switching to MP Motorsport. Previously Minì has claimed four podiums at this level, including one on his debut.

Managing Director and Team Principal of Nissan Formula E team,Tommaso Volpe said:
“We’re pleased to continue working with Abbi and Gabriele at the upcoming Rookie Free Practice session in Miami. It’s the first time Formula E has allowed teams to have two cars in FP0, so we wanted to maximize that opportunity. It’s a brand-new track, which means having as much data as possible will be massively helpful as we prepare for FP1 with Oli and Norman. Both Abbi and Gabriele know the car and are familiar with the team, so this continuity will be important for them to settle quickly and complete their programs, giving full benefit to the team and adding to their experience.”
Following the announcement, Abbi Pulling stated:
“It’s a pleasure to be back on-track with Nissan Formula E Team and I feel very fortunate to be working with such a great outfit. I’m delighted to be trusted with this Rookie Free Practice session as it’ll be the first official running at a brand-new circuit for Formula E so data collection will be crucial. This is now my fourth outing in the Nissan e-4ORCE 05 and, alongside my work in the simulator, I feel like I’ve now got a good understanding of the car. I’ve raced at Miami International Autodrome before in F1 Academy and, even though the track layout will be different, it will be a great spectacle across the weekend. My goal for the session is to fulfil my run plan to put the squad in a strong starting position to kick on for the rest of the event.”
Gabriele Minì also added:
“It feels great to be back with Nissan Formula E Team in Miami for the Rookie Free Practice session. I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of the GEN3 Evo car following Jeddah and Berlin last year. We showed strong pace in both of those sessions and I learned a lot, so I’m aiming for more of the same this time around. The Miami track will be new for the teams, so the main goal of the session is to collect lots of data and information for the team to use throughout the weekend.”
