McLaren have revealed their 2027 World Endurance Championship challenger ahead of it's 2026 testing programme.
The MCL-HY has been revealed in a retro testing livery inspired by the McLaren M6A prototype that was raced by founder Bruce McLaren back in the late 1960s.
The McLaren Hypercar Team (run by United Autosports) will commence testing this month, where confirmed Hypercar works driver Mikkel Jensen will be joined by McLaren Driver Development Programme drivers Gregoire Saucy and Richard Verschoor. United Autosports' Ben Hanley will also be involved in testing.
“Years and months in the making and here we are, revealing the MCL-HY to the world. McLaren Racing now has three race cars ready to contest the biggest motorsport series in the world; Formula 1, INDYCAR and WEC. This means McLaren, its partners and fans can challenge for the Triple Crown of Monaco GP, INDY500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans together – a unique cross-series story that sets us apart" said McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown.
McLaren Automotive CEO, Nick Collins, added; "“This is an exciting moment in McLaren’s history, and we are thrilled to launch this new journey through the Project: Endurance programme. The MCL-HY GTR will offer an FIA Hypercar experience, unprecedented in its accessibility, to track driving enthusiasts. Those who come with us on this journey will see and feel the absolute best of McLaren, and how our racing heritage is shaping our future more than ever.”
Executive director of McLaren Endurance Racing, and Hypercar Team Principal, James Barclay also said; "“The reveal of the MCL-HY sets the scene for the next chapter of McLaren’s return to the top level of sports car racing: from the test livery that reflects and respects our 1960s Can-Am roots; to our new hybrid-powered Hypercar that has been designed and is being developed by our world-class team to take on this exciting and highly competitive era of sports car racing; through to the track car programme that, like the 1995 McLaren F1 GTR, brings our customers back to the driving seat of our outright Le Mans challenger. It represents the start of our journey ahead.”

The reveal also came alongside a track version which will be delivered to McLaren VIP clients in late 2027. The MCL HY GTR features many of the same parts at the LMDh car, but will not contain the hybrid system the race car has.
With just one driver confirmed so far, there will certainly be more announcements about the MCL HY programme in the coming weeks and months.

I’m having a weird issue accessing http://www.bet-kasyno.info on the latest macOS Monterey update here in Poland. The site triggers a "unsupported webkit" warning and fails to load any interactive elements. Has anyone else encountered this, or is the portal specifically optimized for Windows/Android environments? I need to check some documentation on their site, but the Safari compatibility seems completely broken right now.
The testing livery on the new MCL-HY looks incredible, and it’s always exciting to see how McLaren pushes technical boundaries during these sessions. I’ve been following the updates closely, and it’s a great way to unwind after a long day of work. While I was chatting with some fellow racing fans in Poland, someone shared ** as a fun way to take a quick break between reading technical analysis. I didn't expect to stay long, but the site is so easy to use that I ended up browsing for a while during my coffee break. It is a nice way to decompress and shift focus before diving back into the latest F1 news. Having a small resource like that bookmarked…
McLaren's impressive debut, with its bold experimental design, is reminiscent of the dramatic racing sequences in a survival race, a racing game designed for survival.
