At an event in Paris on Thursday afternoon, Peugeot Sport took the covers off the brand new livery for their 9X8 World Endurance Championship (WEC) challenger.

The French marque previously sported a so-called "Hypergraph" design, with the synonymous green accents of the brand. For 2026 however, the green is swapped for a striking red colour.

According to Peugeot, the livery 'pays tribute to the legendary PEUGEOT GTi models of the past', and sets up the launch of the brand new Peugeot E-208 GTi road car.

The white, red and black symbolizes the colourways offered for the original 205 GTi back in 1984.

Matthias Hossann, Head of Design at PEUGEOT said that “The new livery of the PEUGEOT 9X8 is first and foremost further proof of the exceptional quality of the collaboration between PEUGEOT Design and Peugeot Sport. Our aim is to bring an extra dose of emotion and enjoyment to every lap completed by the PEUGEOT 9X8.”

Emmanuel Esnault, Team Principal of Team Peugeot TotalEnergies, said; “Unveiling a new livery is always a key moment for the brand and for Team Peugeot TotalEnergies.

"This livery fully embodies the spirit of the project and the close link between competition and the brand.

"We are looking forward to seeing it come to life on track in Qatar, at the opening round of the championship."

Announced back in January, Nick Cassidy, Paul Di Resta and Stoffel Vandoorne will take to the wheel of the No.93 entry, while Loïc Duval will be joined by Malthe Jakobsen and Théo Pourchaire in the No.94.

Both cars will hit the track for testing in Qatar in just three weeks time, before the season gets underway properly just a week later.
