Having announced DAMS Formula 2 racer, and regular test driver Kush Maini only 24 hours ago, Mahindra Racing completed their rookie test line-up by announcing Hitech TGR F2 racer, and Ferrari junior Dino Beganovic as their second rookie.

Beganovic currently sits tenth in the F2 standings for Hitech TGR, having scored 31 points until the Austrian weekend in the championship. The Swede added two more points to his tally in the Styrian hills, climbing up from 21st to ninth by the flag.

The Hitech man has two podiums in 2025 to his name, alongside his pole position in Imola, a tight qualifying session that saw only six milliseconds separating the top three.

Beganovic has never tested a Formula E car before, and as such, this opportunity will be a step into uncharted territory for him.

“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to drive for Mahindra Racing at the Berlin Rookie Test, and to try a Formula E car for the first time.," said Beganovic. “It’s a great opportunity to get experience and also contribute to the team’s development.

"I’ve been impressed with everything I’ve seen so far, it’s obvious why this is one of the front- running teams in the championship,” Beganovic expressed.

Mahindra team principal Fred Bertrand too spoke high praise of the Swede. “When analysing our options for the Rookie Test in Berlin, Dino quickly emerged as a front-runner for one of the seats.

“It’s a great opportunity for him to sample what Formula E is all about, and we’re all very excited to work together with him to make the most of it.”

Beganovic rounds out Mahindra's line-up, making them the seventh team to do so on the Formula E roster for the rookie test.

Cupra Kiro became the eighth team to round out their rookie test line-up, with Rodin Motorsport Formula 3 driver Callum Voisin joining forces with the already announced Bianca Bustamante at the Jakarta E-Prix winning outfit.

Voisin is already a seasoned racer, having fared strongly for Rodin Motorsport in his debut Formula 3 campaign in 2024. Despite starting slow, the Briton picked up pace as the season progressed, the high points being a podium in Silverstone, and a feature race victory in Belgium.

These results catapulted Voisin up into 12th in the F3 standings, with all his 67 points coming in a three race stretch between Silverstone, Hungary and Belgium.

The progress he had made resulted in an extension with Rodin Motorsport into 2025, with Voisin partnering 2024 GB3 winner Louis Sharp, and FRECA racer Roman Bilinski. Voisin currently sits ninth in the F3 standings in 2025, with a singular podium to his name in Bahrain.

Likewise, this will also be Voisin's first time in a Formula E Gen3 Evo car. “I’m thrilled to be joining CUPRA KIRO for the Berlin Rookie Test and to get my first experience of Formula E," Voisin mentioned.

"The team has had an incredible growth trajectory this season, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with them in a professional environment.

"I’ve been following Formula E for a long time, and I’m really looking forward to learning everything I can, both in the car, and from Dan [Ticktum] and David [Beckmann]. The GEN3 Evo will be an exciting challenge, and I can’t wait to get started,” Voisin concluded.

Cupra Kiro team principal Alex Hui too praised the Briton, welcoming him into the Cupra Kiro fold.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Callum to CUPRA KIRO for Formula E’s upcoming Rookie Test in Berlin. His rapid rise through the ranks of single-seater racing speaks has been exciting to watch and speaks volumes about his natural talent and work ethic," Voisin mentioned.

"From his GB3 title win to some standout performances in Formula 3, Callum has a rare blend of speed, intelligence, and composure at the wheel – traits which make him one of the most promising young British drivers in motorsport today," he continued.
