Calderón will be returning to Formula E machinery, joining the newly-formed Citroën Racing team at the Valencia test on October 31.

The Colombian racer has a wealth of Formula E experience, having participated in multiple test sessions, including an in-season test with DS Techeetah in December 2018, the Rookie Test in Saudi Arabia in 2019, and the first-ever women's test in Valencia with Maserati MSG Racing, alongside Carrie Schreiner.

Most recently, she joined forces with Lola Yamaha ABT for the Rookie Free Practice session in Jeddah earlier in 2025.

In 2025, she competed in the GTD IMSA category with Gradient Racing. She participated in three races and finished fortieth in the standings.

Calderón started her racing career in 2002, having her first taste of karting at a rental track near her family home in Colombia. She remained in karting until 2009, when she switched to cars and competed in Radical European Master Series - SR5, in which she claimed a victory and 9 further podiums, making her the runner-up in the drivers' standings.

From 2010 until 2014, Calderón competed in many different championships, most of which were single-seaters and various Formula Three level series. Across these five years, she took one win and three further podiums. Her best championship position was fifth place in the 2014 Florida Winter Series with the Ferrari Driver Academy.

2015 until 2017 saw the Colombian race in more Formula Three spec championships, including the FIA Formula 3 European Championship and GP3 Series. She took one win and a further seven podiums with a best championship result of second coming in the 2015- 2016 MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship.

2018 saw another GP3 season for Calderón, and she also became Alfa Romeo Formula One’s test and development driver, alongside being announced as DS Techeetah Formula E’s test driver.

In 2019, Calderón remained as Alfa Romeo Racing's test driver, but made the step up to FIA Formula 2 with BWT Arden. She also drove in the Porsche Supercup for 2 races.

2020 and 2021 saw multi-campaign years for Calderón with her competing in sportscars such as LMP2 and GT’s such as GTD in IMSA. She also competed in Super Formula and remained as Alfa Romeo Racing’s test driver.

Calderón  moved to the US in 2022, starting seven races for AJ Foyt Racing in IndyCar. She also returned to F2, driving seven races for Charouz.

From 2023, Calderón has competed in the European Le Mans Series and IMSA, taking one pole position in the LMP2 Pro-Am ELMS category.
